Meet James

James began with RGS in August as Sales Manager of Southern New England to focus on helping growers in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. He comes with many years of agronomic experience ornamental, and vegetable greenhouse growing.

Growing up in the Pioneer Valley, it quickly became apparent the value of agriculture in improving not only the local economy but the region’s way of life. After graduating from University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a BS in Plant and Soil Science, James moved to Myrtle Beach, SC to assume the role of golf course superintendent. after several years in the hot south, with a strong desire to return to his roots, he move back to Massachusetts to both manage and help with construction of golf courses.

Around his career of helping people grow plants in all four seasons in RGS greenhouses, his family also has a small organic farm dedicated to growing vegetables both aquaponically with goldfish as well as soil based in his own greenhouse.
