Meet Dan

Dan Birnstihl joined our Rimol Greenhouse team in August 2022 to assist the Inside Sales / Customer Support team.

Dan grew up in Candia, New Hampshire. As a Marine Corps Veteran, he’s had experience in a lot of fields: landscaping, construction, auto body repair, aviation maintenance, audio engineering, and community organizing to name a few.  In 2016,  he realized his passion was in agriculture. He used the G.I. Bill to attend the University of New Hampshire and earn his degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems.

After college, Dan was hired to be the Farm Director at Hip Peas Farm in Hooksett, New Hampshire. During his four years running the farm, Dan worked with Rimol to build five separate Nor’easter high tunnels and one of the first Bobcats. Dan’s experience working with the Rimol staff and product was so positive, he was thrilled at the idea of joining the Rimol staff.

Dan brings with him the knowledge of what customers need to build their ideal greenhouses, and a strong desire to build lasting relationships with the growers that use them.

In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife Jess, and dog, Parker. He also enjoys keeping his body moving through yoga, weight training, or practicing various martial arts. Dan holds a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and has recently been learning Muay Thai.
