Meet Brian

Brian Hannon is a native of the Carolinas, growing up in South Carolina and currently residing in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has held a number of diverse roles across various sectors of Controlled Environment Agriculture—from pioneering high-tech vertical farms to leading varietal trials in commercial greenhouse settings.

Brian's passion for horticulture was cultivated early on, leading him to earn a degree in Horticultural Science Management from North Carolina State University. His extensive experience also includes working in the cannabis industry in California, where he managed both indoor and outdoor cultivation, mastering everything from irrigation systems to integrated pest management.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Brian is deeply committed to his community as a Board of Director for Raleigh City Farm, a non-profit urban farm that practices regenerative agriculture to help feed Raleigh's underserved communities. His work reflects his dedication not only to advancing agricultural technologies but also to enhancing food security and sustainability. Brian's journey in agriculture is driven by a relentless curiosity and a desire to connect growers with cutting-edge solutions that enhance productivity and sustainability. As he takes on his role at Rimol Greenhouse Systems, he is excited to partner with growers in the Southeastern region to achieve new heights in greenhouse agriculture.
